BOARD RULES

WELCOME TO THE DEVIL'S DUE!
As any good role player knows, there needs to be rules. From tabletop gaming to online versions, rules are important for a number of reasons, Rules help to minimize confusion, keep sites running and avoid hurt feelings. So, here are the rules for this site, with some reasons why we enforce them.
OOC Rules
1. Keep out of character dramatics to a minimum please. We're here to have fun, not to argue and fight.
2. Prejudice and bigotry are ban-able offenses. This includes sexism, racism, ageism, sizeism, religious bigotry and so on. We dont look kindly on prejudice here, if you can't agree to that then don't play with us.
3. Please respect the Admin team. We're here to help you have an enjoyable time. If you have a disagreement with staff members, please resolve it with them or come to another staff member. And keep it off the C-Box.
4. Speaking of the C-Box, please keep it PG and pleasant. And spoiler-free.
5. All absences longer than a week must be posted about in the absence board.
ICC Rules
1. No god-modding. This is a ban-able offence.
2. Please keep all content PG-16 or lower. Swearing in moderation is acceptable, swearing like a sailor is not. Kissing and making out is fine, sexual content is not. If your 13 year old sibling shouldn't be reading what you write, then its too explicit. We do not want to lose our site, so we enforce this strongly. If in doubt, use 'fade to black.'
3. Your character MUST have weaknesses. I dislike Mary Sues and Gary Stus because they're just not fun to play with after a while. Characters who are always perfect, who never do anything wrong and who everybody always likes, please keep them to your fanfiction.
4. All characters must have a human play-by avatar. No hand drawing pictures will be accepted,
5. All apps are to approved by staff before you are allowed to post.
6. There is a 4 character limit for all players, except Admin.
The Activity Policy
Word Count: 300 word minimum
All players must post at least once a week, unless your absence is noted in a PM to staff or in the appropriate board. Anyone without a good reason will have their characters moved to inactive status until they return. Any character on inactive status for more than 1 calender month will be deleted.
